Split
Nightlife
When the sun drops behind the islands, Central Beach shifts gear. The beach bar that served your morning coffee becomes an open-air spot for the evening, right on the Žnjan shoreline.
Indoor and covered open-air spaces, the sea air on every side and a different line-up almost every night, all the way through to last call.
Open-Air Nights by the Sea
Most of Split nightlife happens in the old town, in stone courtyards and cellars behind the Riva. Central Beach is the opposite of that. It sits right on Žnjan beach, with an indoor space and a large covered open-air area that stays open to the sea on every side.
That means the night is shaped by the breeze, the sunset and the stars rather than four dark corners, but with a roof overhead if you want it. It is an easy, unhurried take on nightlife in Split, Croatia: come as you are after a day on the beach and let the evening run.
Live Music & DJ Sets
The line-up changes through the season. Some evenings lean on live music, a saxophone or violin playing over the bar, while others hand the night to a DJ. Often it is a mix of both, building from a relaxed cocktail soundtrack at sunset to something with more energy as the night goes on.
The open-air stage and the sea make it one of the more memorable spots for Split Croatia nightlife. To see who is playing and what is on, check our upcoming events.
From Golden Hour to Last Call
The evening starts gently. Golden hour is for aperitivo and a first cocktail as the sky changes colour, the natural handover from a day at Žnjan beach into the night. From there the kitchen and bar keep going, with late-night bites and signature cocktails served until 01:00.
Whether you want a quiet drink by the water or a full night out, Central Beach holds both. Same terrace, same sea, a different pulse after dark.
